Twist is one of our top Sr. Herdsires, he is a gorgeous, deep bodied, solid buck with very good spring of rib and beautiful front end assembly, everything about this guy is WIDE too!!   Twist's pedigree is exceptional with a good balance of beauty and milk.  His Grandam on his dam's side GCH Calliopy Olympic Express was 14 x Grand Champion, 8 x Best of Breed and 4 times Best Doe in show, in tough southern California competition.  Express was also the '91 National Futurity winner and 4th place at the '90 Nationals. Her Life DHIR record was 774 6600 2.7 181 BF.  She was HES appraised FS94 GA92 BC93 DC95 M95.  Twist's Grandam on his sires side, is 7*Cedars West's Cair Paravel, who is the full sister to the 1993 High selling Spotlight sale LaMancha, 7Cedars Ginger Snap who went on to be the 2nd place senior yearling 1994 Nationals, their dam being, GCH Forest Acres Oreo, as a 2 year old Oreo was 2nd place, 2nd udder at the '90 Nationals, as a 3 year old at the '91 Nationals she was 1st with 1st udder and in '92 she was 1st place aged doe and reserve best udder.  Twist is pictured here at 17 months old, I regret not getting a new picture of him this year at age 4, when he was clipped for appraisal, the summer months were pretty busy!  Twist kids are exceptional, very wide and flashy with beautiful heads and smooth blending through out, they freshened this year with beautiful mammary systems..  We have 5 of his daughters in the herd right now, three are permenant GCH does,  Twist has earned his +B with 4 of his daughters earning their *M's on test.  Twist throws some of the most consistent type, you know a Twist Baby when you see one!! He has had the 1st place Jr Get of sire 3 years in a row at the Ozark Empire Fair, last year his Sr. Get was first place at the District 5 LaMancha Specialty. and this year he had the 1st place Sr. Get at Ozark Empire and 2nd place Get at Missouri State Fair.
